Why.

When asked as a question, this word can open the door to a whole world of discovery, notably when the querent uses it with intention and determination.

“Why?” allows us to pursue meaning, to understand the reasons and motivations behind thoughts, actions, events, and emotions. It may only have three letters and one syllable, but this seemingly understated word is often our ticket to a life richer because of the knowledge it can bring.

Today, with the Sagittarius Moon squaring both Saturn and Uranus, we may be faced with situations that bring our desire to stay with the tried-and-true into conflict with a pull to pursue a new approach. As such, it’s a great day for us to have “Why?” in our toolbox, using this meaning-seeking word to help find more clarity as to the reasons that we may be pulled in disparate directions. This can, inherently, lead us to recognize how divergent tendencies may be rectified in a way that honors varied aspects of ourselves.
