Astrological Insights for 3 November 2009

It’s Election Day in the United States.

Election Day is typically filled with hopes, dreams, and oftentimes hyperbole. There’s a notion that anything can happen–and sometimes something unexpected does. Regardless of who wins and who loses, we realize that at the end of the day our collective choices have affected the reality in which we will live. Whether we feel the outcomes suit the best interest of society likely depends upon our values and vantage point.

Interestingly, today’s Moon’s aspects reflect these notions. Luna makes an alignment with think-big Jupiter, out-of-the-blue and against-the-grain Uranus, I-wish-the-ideal-was-real Neptune, and structure-honoring and status-quo-loving Saturn. Therefore, we may have other experiences and reflections today that bring us face to face with many of the issues that are captured within and triggered by Election Day.

P.S. Given the Moon/Neptune aspect and the fact that the Moon is void-of-course throughout most of the day, we may also have a tendency to be a little daydreamy and forgetful today. As such, this is just a friendly reminder to remember to vote.
