It’s the beginning of another week. Yet, it’s not just any other week as this one may be ultra revolutionary and revealing. That’s because on Thursday’s astrological agenda not only is there a Full Moon but Uranus moves into Aries (this is significant since the planet of the unexpected changes signs once every 7 years). And if that wasn’t enough to keep us on our cosmic toes, we’re in the wake of a Saturn station with the make-it-real planet turning direct on Sunday after a 4-1/2 month retrograde stint.
As Saturn inspires us to plan ahead, it’s not a bad idea to take the opportunity today and/or tomorrow to see whether there are any loose ends that need taking care of. Reflect upon whether there is anything that you can attend to that will make the rest of the week less stressful and that will inspire a greater sense of peace and equanimity within. With the Moon in Libra harmoniously aligning with Mars, relationships may provide us with assistance and support in doing so.

If you’ve been questing for a solution to an answer that’s been eluding you, today may be the day you’ve been waiting for. After all, the Moon in dig-below-the-surface Scorpio is aligned with communicative Mercury while the Sun is in information-seeking Gemini. A winning strategy: don your detective hat and combine your curious-to-know inclinations with a passionate must-know desire.

Innie or outie? No, not your belly button, but your greater focus of locus for the day.
I ask because today we may feel torn between the two. On the one hand, we may feel the desire to stay quiet and centered in a deep swell of emotions to which we may be connecting. On the other hand, we may also feel an urge to participate with others in a celebratory upbeat way.
If we just honor one of these needs, tension may arise as we may be doing so at the expense of our other desire and therefore feel a bit imbalanced, or even self-disingenuous.
See if there’s a way to integrate both needs; this may require some change—of a situation, or an attitude—but doing so may be well worth the effort for the joy and peace that it will yield.

Today holds the potential to be a day that provides unexpected and powerful illumination.
That’s because not only is it a Full Moon but today Uranus changes signs. Uranus changing signs is a very significant event. This is not only because it does so once every seven years but because the planet of expect-the-unexpected is now moving from the last sign (Pisces) into the first (Aries). As it begins its voyage in the early degrees of Aries it also enters into alignments with Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter, in a powerful alignment referred to as the Cardinal T-Square.
For more on what today may reveal and inspire within/without, as well as supportive wellness suggestions, see this post.

Today, seek to educate yourself.
Look far and wide as you propel your mind to collect insights that can yield great wisdom.
Remember that teachers are always around when we expand our definition of who and what it is that can contribute to our sense of more expanded understanding.

Saturn likes us to do our homework. Since it’s currently stationing (it goes direct tomorrow) and the Moon moves into the Saturn-ruled sign of Capricorn mid-day, in honor of the planetary taskmaster, I thought I’d offer the following weekend assignment:
- Don’t judge yourself.
- Tame your inner critic.
- Honor the processes that you’ve come to rely upon but don’t be so attached to them. This way if the universe conspires to expand your horizons you can readily rebound to gracefully reach your destination.
Sunday, May 30
Saturn—the planet of boundaries, structure, and practicality—leaves the retrograde cycle it’s been in since January 13, returning to forward motion.
It’s a good day to reflect upon what we learned about our inner authority, our processes of building structure in our life, and other Saturn-focused constructs. For more on the reflections that Saturn can inspire, see this post.
