My father would have been eighty today. That seems, on some levels, shocking. I can’t imagine him eighty. Although, then again, I can’t imagine him older than sixty-three, the age at which he passed from this earth. While no longer alive, he still preciously lives on in so many ways for those who knew and loved him.
Today, with the Aries Moon squaring Pluto and opposing Saturn, take a moment to reflect upon and appreciate someone you felt deeply connected to who has transitioned away. Revel in the knowledge and love that they shared with you and how a facet of who you are is because of the role they played in your life. Even if the memories shroud you with sorrow, see if it’s possible for even a moment to connect into that deep place where sweet appreciation may reside, and which can ignite your heart in a glint of joy.
