Sometimes when we are swimming with emotions, we want to paddle really hard, take action to try to get “somewhere” in an attempt to resolve what we may perceive as discomfort in just being with them. Today, consider taking a different approach and just floating with them (or at the most doing a doggie-paddle). See what get evidenced and experienced, and maybe even resolved by just letting go and being in the pool of feelings rather than actively (and maybe prematurely) trying to get to shore.
