We’re still a bit in run-on sentence mode today, as Jupiter–which squared the Sun yesterday–forms a similar alignment with messenger Mercury. Additionally, the Gemini Moon unites with expansive Jupiter while making a tense square to Mercury.
As such, we may find ourselves connecting to a plethora of ideas and have an enthusiasm for learning and understanding that is so bright that an exuberance overflows. With that we just need to watch that our minds don’t get side-stepped too much from maintaing important focus.
My yoga teacher, Terilyn, reminded us today that Ganesha is the Hindu deity associated with Jupiter. Ganesha, the elephant deity, is known as the remover of obstacles, as well as the Lord of Beginnings as well as the spirit of wisdom and intellect. Making intentions to clear one’s mind and remove what stands in the way of clear thinking and rightful thought may be very powerful today. If you looking for some musical inspiration related to Ganesha, check out Bhagavan Das’ Ode to Ganesha here.
