Astrological Insights for 19 October 2012 [On a Mission]

We’re inspired to go on an adventure today. Whether it be enjoying foreign cuisine or a foreign flick, or exploring other countries through reading about them in magazines or the Internet, satisfy your urge to expand your horizons in whatever way feels good. Later in the day when the Moon shifts into Capricorn, the mood shifts as well. A sense of upbeat transforms into no-nonsense focus.

Mercury is now in the retrograde shadow period (it shifts retrograde November 6, the day of the U.S. Elections). During this Mercury retrograde “lite” period, it’s a great time to be backing up your computer, considering whether your car needs an oil change, paying greater attention to communications, and all the other things that are good to be diligent about when the messenger planet takes on a more internal and yin-like energetic.
