Today we forge new alliances, not only with other people but with our convictions and intentions. It’s a day where hard work may be required yet the pay-off will be greater than we may even calculate in the present moment. If you feel blocked in your advances consider whether it’s a sign that a redirection of effort may be more efficient and productive.

Think back to mid-October (around October 13 to be precise). Events and reflections that manifest today may seem related to those that came into being then. We have an opportunity to course correct, to get ourselves back in alignment with ways in which to more authentically express who we are and further live from our core of truth.

What do you do with uncertainty? Do you have it stop you in your tracks? Do you sit quietly with it, figuring out how to move through the cloudiness, finding a deeper level of clarity? Do you proceed regardless, ignoring it somewhat? This question seems to hold relevance in the earlier part of the day. Focusing upon it may yield some great insights.

Later in the day there’s a definitive shift in energy as our attention turns upwards and outwards. We may feel the urge to do something differently than we normally do. Explore what that experience is like.

A challenge may arise if we feel torn between wanting to be bold and uninhibited while at the same time reveling in the softness of solitude and quiet. See if there is a way to honor both.

Adaptability is currency.

In these shifting times, being fluid and flexible is a great asset.

Expanding one’s perception of what’s possible–and of the possibilities of which one is capable-goes a long way in the modern world, where the work-in-progress playing field looks quite different than it did before, and which is shifting anew.

Today’s a good day to remember this. And to practice this perspective.

Instead of being thrown for a great loop if something doesn’t go as you expected, see what other openings are created from this outcome. Step back and survey the landscape of other potentials, seeing within them jewels that would have remained undiscovered would things have gone the expected route. Remember that you have the resources–whether at your fingertips or a few conversations removed–to turn lemons into delicious lemonade (or limes into limeade if that’s the fruit that you ended up being proverbially given).

Venus moves into Capricorn today where it will remain through December 20. Our focus turns to effectiveness, hard work and taking things seriously. What’s real and what you can count on become important. Frugality and getting a good deal hold more allure. We want to ensure that people do what they say, and say what they do in relationships–or else the extent of our loyalty may be tested.

Yet, it’s not all put-one-foot-in-front-of-the-other today given that Uranus squares the Venus/Moon conjunction. In fact, coming off of the Sagittarius Eclipse and Mercury retrograde, there may be unexpected manifestations that arise from someone putting their foot in their mouth. This alignment has also inspire shocks and surprises–it may seem as if a friend or partner does something that we never saw coming or something that seems really out of character. See if you can keep an open mind and hold a really large canvas in which your relationships can express themselves upon.

Uranus squaring Venus highlights the need for freedom within relationships. It may also inspire an innovative approach to partnerships, one that seems different than we had conditionally thought we resonated with. When it comes to the adoption and expression of beauty, if you’ve been wanting to try something new on for size—whether it be a different lipstick, fashion style, or seduction technique—today may be the day for which you’ve been waiting.

Today expansive Jupiter trines Pluto, the second of three such harmonious alignments (the first in the series occurred on July 7, 2011 with March 13, 2012 being the next one). And with this there’s encouragement to be committed to unleashing our inner strength and personal power. Opportunities may readily manifest that make it easier to close one chapter and open another. It’s as if we have a greater sense of knowing–and a greater sense of faith–that everything will work itself out. That the Moon moves into philosophical and upbeat Sagittarius helps us more readily to connect to this vessel of faith and mission and engenders our ability to view things from a wider angle as we seek a bigger picture understanding.

The Sun connects in with this alignment. It opposes Jupiter reminding us that keeping open to a sense of expanded possibilities is important. While optimism and potential can be a good companion, just watch not to be caught up in the swell of overshooting goals and overpromising. If we can keep our eye on the horizon, envisioning what we want to create in our life, with the Sun also sextiling Pluto we can connect to deep resources of generative power that resides within.

With Mercury and Mars in a tense square, it may take some work to get our words and willpower on the same page. It’s important to focus on marshalling our communications as an ally for our achievements rather than having dialogues detour us from our goals.

It’s a day of Mars-square-Jupiter gusto. The Moon in up-up-and-away Sagittarius adds to the elevated mood and feeling of being somewhat unstoppable.

We’re revved up to try on something new, take on an adventure, assert ourselves boldly. We see a goal and we want to go after it.

The caveat is to make sure that as we’re driving towards the end zone we don’t bowl people over, whether knowingly or unknowingly, whether others or ourselves.

There’s a wave of ease today, especially if you take flight. You don’t have to do so literally. Figuratively should work just fine.

Take flight by elevating your vision, soaring in your mind to see the bigger picture, and envisioning the horizons. Expand what you deem possible.

Making room for things to manifest is a key element in causing them to do so. Add a pinch of faith, a dash of optimism, and a speck of determination and you’ll have the recipe for calling into being something that can forward the mission of your life in really glorious ways.
