Feeling a bit of ennui in a relationship? If so, the issue possibly may not be the relationship.

Everything could seem fine on the surface. Yet, it could be that there is something unexplored within, something that you haven’t yet discovered about what you really need and value in a partnership. You could think that it’s X, Y and Z that turns you on because it “always has” and yet even though the triad is being satisfied, you are not.

Today, consider this: Maybe your relationship needs that are not being met are not the ones you’ve identified, named and claimed, but the ones that you have yet to. Maybe what’s causing a sense of irritation, a desire to break free, isn’t the other person but rather the stifling feeling that may be occurring because you’ve yet to give voice to needs that you may have perceived as being off-beat and atypical (when compared to the “status quo” that is).

Take the opportunity to have a really/truly honest conversation with yourself to really/truly identify what you really/truly value in a partner, friend, colleague, and/or client. You may be surprised what you discover. And feel thrilled by the sense of authentic self liberation that ensues.

We often overlook the day-to-day, the to-do’s that we move through, as holding value. They are often seen as shoulds, acts that have to be (usually begrudgingly) completed.

Today, we have an opportunity to see them as something else. We can shift our perception to view them as jewels that can help us connect to a deeper part of our self. They can be a carrier of joy, as well as meaning. Through consciously attending to these rituals and tasks we can find within them the power they have for inspiring transformation, for allowing us to connect with a deep-seated power of resourcefulness that resides within.

Additionally today, if we’ve had challenges to our well-being, we may find windows where we can dive into a well of healing. This may manifest numerous ways, whether as identifying a route to experience greater wellness and/or a sense of peace and understanding, itself a magical panacea for well-being.

In addition to dealing with the minutiae, we’re pulled to take a stand for those in our community. We feel pulled to take the time to be there for another and/or contribute to a cause in the best way we know how. There’s a great sense that we are utterly connected to others and as such we feel inspired to do what we can to help assist them in some way.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your ability to express yourself, to radiate the true you?

On a piece of paper on which you’ve made three columns, right that number down in the first column.

Then in the middle column, write down three things that you perceive are getting in the way of your vibrant self-expression, the ease in which you can share who you are with others in your life. Then really sit with those things, seeing how they may range from being hard-to-unravel restrictions to stories you’ve created, which in an instant of realization, can go “poof.”

Now consider how much more self-expressed you would be if you could move through and “disappear” the three things you noted as barriers. Using the same 1 to 10 scale, rate this level of self-expression, your ability to shine, and write it down in the third column.

What you’ve likely created is an elementary sketch of how to help yourself be more luminous. As the Moon moves from beaming Leo to analytical Virgo later today (where it will be for the next two days), you may connect to methods and tools that can help you unleash a sense of self freedom so that you can more authentically be your self. After all, that’s what everyone–not just your self–wants you to be.

The Leo Moon forms a grand trine with gracious Venus and disruptive Eris today. And with that we may find how valuable and nurturing it can be to shake up the system a bit. We are urged to fight for greater justice. The route to that may be through creative means that cause others to awake from an acceptance of stagnant modes of being.

When the Moon moves into Virgo, the details and finer points become even more important. As it makes a trine to ebullient Jupiter, expressing our needs feels natural. There’s a sense of ease and grace. Later when the Moon unites with Mars, a sense of urgency takes over. It feels good to stand behind our strong convictions and to take action to see something through.

Being of service is not only fulfilling but can cause great transformation today while also providing us with great opportunities for growth and learning.
